Anthony Chadwick BVSc CertVD MRCVS

Anthony qualified in 1990 from Liverpool University and gained his certificate in Veterinary Dermatology in 1995. Since then he has travelled and presented at the World Veterinary Dermatology Conference in San Francisco as well as lecturing nationally and internationally including a recent trip to Latvia at the invitation of Royal Canin. In 1997, he won the prestigious Frank Beattie Travel Scholarship and spent time at Cornell University with Danny Scott and Bill Miller, authors of Small Animal Dermatology.

In November, he went to the latest world veterinary dermatology conference in Hong Kong

Appropriate cases for referral include:

Chronic Pruritus- full investigation including intradermal allergy testing
Pyoderma- making a diagnosis is vital in these cases
Suspected hormonal diseases- biopsies and dynamic blood tests can be performed on hospitalised patients
Chronic otitis- medical and surgical management
Anal furunculosis
Parasitic skin diseases
Neoplastic skin diseases

Each case is given an initial hour consultation to take a history, examine and formulate a diagnostic and treatment plan. Reports are sent within 1 week of seeing case and Anthony is available to communicate further through phone or email
